Administrative Assistant - Engineering

Curtiss-Wright Controls Inc. – Irwindale Operations is a leading designer and manufacturer of electronic products for the commercial aircraft, defense, and aerospace industries.

 

We are currently looking for  Administrative Assistant to support

the Engineering Department and Department Manager with administrative functions. 

 Supports document control with filing, copying, and maintenance functions by performing the following duties. Supports typing functions on computer for Engineering Department including test plans, reports, manuals, and other engineering related documents.Composes and types routine correspondence and minutes of meetings.Organizes and maintains engineering file system, and files correspondence and other documents for Department Manager.Answer and screen Manager’s incoming telephone calls; arrange conference calls.Coordinates Department Manager’s schedule and appointments.Greets scheduled visitors and conducts to appropriate area/person.Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations for business trips.Supports document control with copying, distribution, filing, printing, and data entry.Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepares agendas, reserve/prepares facilities, records and transcribes minutes of meetings.Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including email and faxes.Orders and maintains supplies, schedules arrangements for department equipment repairs and/or maintenance.
