Job Requirements:Must have experience supporting a Software Engineering/technical department. Strong technical/specification writing skills. Must have excellent communication skills. Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite. Must understand software project management, real-time embedded systems, Object Oriented Technology, C/C++, Rational Rose, UML, XP, VxWorks, RTOS, Tornado, ClearCase, CM, etc. Software Engineering experience a big plus! Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to travel and work OT as necessary.

Summary:Record meeting minutes for Software Engineering department.  Track decisions and action items to closure. Prepare and/or provide assistance in creation of correspondence, presentation charts, data entry and personnel related reports, etc. Support the technical design and development, testing, and deployment of software. Assist team with tracking and reports Failure Reports, Root Cause Analysis of Failures, Risks and Corrective Actions. Coordinate travel requirements, complete expense reports and maintain travel/expense account files for Manger. Provide management and coordination of the managers schedule, calendar (electronic and paper), conference rooms, visitors, etc. Schedule meetings and events as required. Provide management and coordination of the managers schedule, calendar, conference rooms, visitors, etc. Provide assistance, information, guidance to departmental personnel on items such as travel, expense reporting system, procedures, timecards, security, etc. Maintain responsibilities and duties within the Software IPT including sharing technical knowledge and experience, maintaining clear communications with team members and management, attendance at staff and IPT meetings, weekly status reports, working within scope of assigned duties and remaining focused on directed tasks. Assist in the tracking of technical and administrative milestones.
