We currently seek a highly skilled Advanced Product Quality Engineer to join our dedicated team of professionals at our Fort Myers facility. This position will have responsibility for leading the prototype process and tracking and reporting First Time Capability for prototype builds. 

Additional responsibilities include:

· Facilitating prototype dimensional layouts and preparing prototype PPAP and/or PSW submissions

· Initiating dimensional layouts on production piece parts for the purpose of qualifying piece parts for production release

· Ensuring the manufacturing process meets the product’s defined quality level and that processes meet identified capability levels for the product

· Working with process and engineering personnel to ensure that control plans, work instructions and product audit schedules are defined with procedures and work instructions to support the production line yield goals and customer requirements

· Defining and implementing SPC requirements

To qualify, candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred) and seven years related quality engineering experience. Additionally, we require ASQ certified Quality and/or Reliability Engineer. Experience using quality tools (SPC, Gauge R&R, capability studies, FMEA, control plans) and working knowledge of GD&T are required.  Statistical problem solving and analysis (regression, T-tests, chi-square, ANOVA, design of experiments are essential. Familiarity with reliability test design and analysis and Mini-Tab are also required.
