Aerospace Engineering Project Manager

We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager I.  Essential Job Duties:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously including:

· Application of the NPI process

· Coordination of schedules

· Provide key technical direction

· Coordination of information flow

· Coordination of multiple departments through meetings, activities, etc.

· Direction provision for multiple engineering functions

· Other project management functions as needed by Securaplane

· 55%

· Represent Securaplane during high level technical sessions through verbal and written communications to customers, peers, and industry experts.

· 5%

· Keep current with state-of-the-art techniques for project management and technical processes as Securaplane may require.

· 5%

· Provide direct technical support to projects involved with to absorb unexpected twists

· 30%

· Interface with FAA representatives as required

· 5%

 

 

 II. Non-Essential Job Duties:

§ Assist other departments with job duties and tasks, as needed within the scope of expertise.

§ Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by supervisor.III. Minimum Qualifications:

· Technical degree

· 3 years experience in aviation engineering work in a development and/or sustaining environment

· 1 years experience within an electronics manufacturing environment for aviation equipment

· Desire to continuously increase personal capabilities and design skills

· Completely self motivated and ability to motivate others

· Knowledge of FAA and regulatory design requirements including DO-160 and DO-178B

· Proficient in all MS Office applications

· Extremely detail oriented

· Proficient in MS Project

· Desire to continuously increase personal capabilities and design skills
