Aerospace Project Engineer/ Project Manager

 

Our client an excellent aerospace company is actively seeking a strong Project Engineer/Program Manager.  Ideally individuals will come from a product development company that develops electro/mechanical products (Aerospace desired but not required.  Automotive/Medical Device or other related technical industry considered).  Individuals will be responsible for the assigned engineering programs including (prototype, design, development, as well as schedule and budget responsibilities.      

     A background with experience using electrical and mechanical engineering principles is required to oversee and manage proper successful product design.  The ability and experience interacting and working with customers on project specifications and details, creating test plans, developing testing procedures, test completion and reporting is required.  The Project Engineer is the key person in the overall product design, schedule, and budget so attention to detail must be a priority. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

Individuals will have a BS or MS degree in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 2 or more years experience in a Project Engineer or Program Management role.  A background and knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and components is required with work experience, preferably in the aerospace industry but not required.  Individuals must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics, have experience in PC-based computer software, Pro-E Software a plus along with the ability to manage others.
