Responsible to ensure continuous Quality improvement of Anixter Supply Chain Develop programs that promote continuous improvements to productivity, quality and customer satisfaction. Manage the Inspection and Receiving area. Recommend corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications and standards. Monitor need for modification of products or quality standards. Communicate and provide training on quality control concepts and programs. Ensure preparation/maintenance of procedures and forms meet Basic Quality System (BQS) requirements. Responsible for auditing compliance to all procedural AS9100, BQS requirements and addressing non-compliant issues through the corrective action process. Provides required training/familiarization for BQS as well as safety. Identify resources required for the Quality System implementation. Delegates/retracts Quality activities to other departments using documented procedures.
