60,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD /year Status:   Full Time, Employee Job Category:   Security/Protective Services Company:   Battelle Reference Code:   BT15267 Aircrew Life Support Specialist - HQS ACC Battelle's National Security Global Business (NSGB) Division provides the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal, state, and local emergency planning agencies with analytical expertise in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) defense programs. Headquarters Air Combat Command, Director of Operations, Aircrew Flight Equipment, Langley AFB, Virginia, has a requirement for on-site technical expertise in the area of aircrew flight equipment systems and CBRNE/WMD preparedness. The mid-level analyst will provide technical and operational consulting and analysis of current and developmental CBRN/WMD personal protective equipment and procedures. The analyst will coordinate between multiple Air Force and Joint staffs to provide technical input into development of plans and policy and assist with implementation efforts. Required Qualifications - US Air Force Life Support/Aircrew Flight Equipment Technician certification with at least 5-10 years of experience. - Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of aircrew and passenger flight equipment systems equipment, to include chemical and biological defense equipment. - Demonstrated ability instructing aircrews on purpose, operation, care, and use of flight equipment. - Experience managing multifaceted, complex, time-urgent projects. - Exceptional oral and written communication skills. - Able to work independently and unsupervised as well as in a team environment. - Demonstrated inherent ability to reassess and reprioritize activities to meet the client's needs. - Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). - Current DoD Secret clearance; ability to maintain that level of clearance. - Willingness to travel frequently for durations of generally up to 1 week. -Experience in CBRNE defense operations a must. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in military training management a plus.
