Performs basic and routine electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations on components or assemblies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Soldering
- Thru-hole
- Surface mount
- Fine pitch-complex multi-pin with certified assistance

* Mechanical-mechanical Assembly
- Wire routing
- Solder and crimp wire termination
- Performs process tests
- Wire bonding (Detector Lab)

* Mechanical Assembly
- Multi-level
- Complex assembly
- Precision assembly
- Final assembly
- Reconfigure/reassemble semi-conductor process ¡V Detector Lab

* Process Improvements
- Contribute to process improvements

* Inspection
- Performs next step inspection and identifies process errors
- Identified as an ¡§In process inspector¡¨

* Documentation
- Labor hours input
- Product system information

* Assembly Procedures
- Review for correctness and accuracy
- Contribute to creation and updating
















Education:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience:
Requires 2 - 4 years electro-mechanical assembly related experience with specialized training preferred.



Skills:
-Use of electrical test equipment(multi-meter)
-Read and write English language
-Read and understand assembly procedures
-Read and understand basic electrical/mechanical procedures
-Use of mechanical hand tools
-Use of various soldering equipment
-Interpret red line/sketch drawings
-Harness and board layout drawings
-Bond, polish coat
-Familiar with IPC
-ESD
-Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements:
-Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
-Visual acuity and manual dexterity
