Assembly Associate

Job Summary:  Produces products by assembling parts and subassemblies in an entry level position.

 

Major Accountabilities:

1.  Train to independently use and adhere to proper specifications of basic measuring tools (e.g. OD & ID Micrometers, height gages, dial calipers, etc.).

2.  Train in the proper procedure to build and assemble components by learning to read assembly instructions, blue prints and engineering written instructions.

3.  Aquire knowledge of Frisby Aerospace’s procedures and paper work system. 

4.  Learn to read and become familiar with QAP’s.

5.  Gain the confidence and fully understand the working knowledge of building units.

6.  Meets production deadlines by following correct procedures under close supervision.

7.  Knowledge of assembling one end-unit part number from prep to final assembly within the first 90 days.

8.  Contribute to team effort, work safely, and maintain a positive attitude, by learning procedures, following the leadership of your team leader, taking notes and asking questions.



Physical Limitations: Work may require bending, carrying, sitting two (2) hours a day, and standing six (6) hours per day.

Minimum Education Required: High school diploma.

Minimum Years of Experience Required: Two years in aviation maintenance, military, or manufacturing.
