Assistant Facility Manager

MTC Technologies, Inc. (MTC) provides a wide range of sophisticated system engineering, intelligence, information technology and program management solutions, primarily to the Department of Defense and various intelligence agencies. Assist the designated Facility Manager for a major Army Headquarters at Fort McPherson, GA with management and oversight of maintenance, upkeep, repair, renovation, reconfiguration and enhancement of all real property (buildings, supporting infrastructure and grounds) as well as support services. Responsibilities include proactive monitoring of facilities and grounds to identify issues and proactively provide remedial intervention; respond to customer requests for information and repairs; prepare, coordinate and manage work and service orders to effect repairs and maintenance; plan, manage and coordinate enforcement of the organization's parking plan; assist with cubicle reconfiguration; perform limited maintenance, repair and upkeep tasks for facilities and grounds, as required; coordinate, manage and/or perform recurring housekeeping services, as necessary; maintain records (with both physical and electronic files) and prepare reports (both hard copy and electronic). High school graduate. Military experience (preferred, but not mandatory). If former military, completion of PLDC and/or BNCOC is advantageous. If no military experience, record of post high school training and experience relevant to this position is key. Capability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Highly motivated, industrious and with strong initiative and willingness to learn and to perform, in detail, the full responsibilities of Facility Management. Computer literate ' comfortable with e-mail and MS Office suite of applications Excellent inter-personal skills'patient, responsive and reliable, with good listening skills and abilities. Demonstratable experience and success in organizing and managing both personal and project related tasks and responsibilities.
