Associate Systems Analyst/Senior Trainer ULLS-A (E)
Summary: Train and develop trainers to instruct military and civilian personnel on all aspects of ULLS-A (E) software. Senior Trainers are responsible for, but not limited to: Training newly assigned personnel; Continual reinforcement training; Review / revise PowerPoint Presentations, TSP’s, and End User Manuals as required; Counseling’s; Classroom security; Training hardware security; Training schedules / changes; Create ETR findings through ETR Website and Remedy Tickets through Remedy Website; Special projects; Maintain professional appearance and mannerisms; Assist Team Lead with Weekly Roll-Up; Create Training Report; Complete Training Certificates for personnel trained; Maintain working knowledge of software. This position requires extensive travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Subject Matter Expert in three or more utilities within ULLS-A (E). Train and certify employees on ULLS-A (E) software to include, but not limited to: Log Book, Quality Control, Production Control, Back Shops, Decision Support System, Flight Operations, Deployable Server, AMATS, Tech Supply and CSSAMO. Ensure the mandatory requirement of 90 days to instruct Logbook, BackShops, Phase, Intro, and Remedy courses are met, to standard.
• Receive special projects from Team Lead and assign tasks to team members to complete.
• Monitor work performed by team members and ensure they can meet expected goals. Coordinate with Team Lead for extension or further guidance as required.
• Review and update presentations, TSP, end-user manuals, and student handouts as required.
• Provide input on proposed manual revision.
• Review issues with the program as reported through Remedy and by Engineers at WESTAR.
• Oversees the operation and functions of instruction of ULLS-A (E) to students (Military and Civilian).
• Accountable for training hardware and ensure classrooms are set up and functional prior to training.
• Provide over the shoulder support for customers.
• Collect and document all attendance rosters in standardized Excel format.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting procedures to customers.
• Attend meetings and provide input to programmers to improve the program.
• Maintain training database at home station for implementation and testing of new versions of the program.
• Maintain proficiency while excelling to instruct additional classes.
• Be knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and Adobe.
• Must maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Be knowledgeable and adhere to Westar Employee Handbook and Clarksville Office SOP’s.
• Complete other tasks as required.

Security Requirements: Employee will be required to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance while performing duties under this contract.
Education and/or Experience:
• Associates degree required. Three years experience in the aircraft maintenance, flight operations, or aviation QA fields may be substituted.
• Experience required in writing technical reports.
• Knowledge and understanding of Army Aviation maintenance principles.
• Knowledge and understanding of Army Maintenance Management System – Aviation (TAMMS-A) and other related regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interface with all levels of military and civilian personnel.
• Ability to design, coordinate, and provide instruction on the ELAS/SLAMS/IMPS/AFRS programs.
• Ability to compose presentations and demonstrations on Army Automation Systems.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government regulations and forms. Ability to create reports and write correspondence that is clear and well organized. Ability to speak effectively before all levels of military and civilian chain of command.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to use basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, discounts, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills: Thorough understanding of basic computer operations. Working knowledge of MS Windows, Database Management, Adobe, and MS Office Professional.
Physical Demands: Extensive travel will be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee requires normal manual dexterity, speech and hearing. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job require frequent use of a computer monitor. Work Environment: Work is accomplished in a moderately clean office environment with adequate environmental (heating/cooling) control.
