Associates Systems Analyst/Team Lead
Summary:
Team Leader is directly responsible to serve as the coordinator between Westar and military and civilian customers and on all matters pertaining to the successful fielding and training of the ULLS-A (E) Program. Team Leader is directly responsible for all permanently assigned team members and all augmented personnel during fielding’s. Accountable for personnel counseling’s, performance reviews, special projects, and additional requirements within Westar Employee Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate between unit/customer and Westar personnel on all matters pertaining to the ULLS-A (E)
• Fielding Site Visit Request Form if applicable
• Training team members
• 30 day, 90 day, appraisal, and performance counseling’s
• All personnel assigned to fielding to include subcontractors
• Shipping of fielding equipment and documentation
• Review all administrative documents for team members
• Maintain complete knowledge of ULLS-A (E) software and changes
• Coordination with Site Survey Representative
• Professionalism of entire fielding personnel (i.e., attire, mannerism, etc)
• Submit daily/weekly reports to higher headquarters to include training, validation, and issues.
• ETR Website usage
• Submit Team Travel Roll-Up and required documentation for travel, lodging, etc.
• Maintain accountability of all government and Westar equipment at home office and during fielding.
• Validate all Aircraft Historical Records in ULLS-A (E) Database with unit representatives.
• Review and update presentations, TSP, end-user manuals, and student handouts as required.
• Coordinate and assign daily tasks to team members
• Account for publications and provide disposition as instructed. Create Certificate of Training for Active Duty Personnel
• Provide additional classes or over the shoulder training as required/requested.
• All special projects and any additional requirements not contained in the Westar Employee Manual or SOP’s
• Perform other duties as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Team Leader will be responsible for the supervision of fielding team members up to 30 employees.

Security Requirements: Employee will be required to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance while performing duties under this contract.
Education and/or Experience:
• Associates degree required. This requirement may be substituted for eight years of aircraft maintenance, flight operations, or aviation QA experience.
• Experience required in writing technical reports.
• Knowledge and understanding of Army Aviation maintenance principles.
• Knowledge and understanding of Army Maintenance Management System – Aviation (TAMMS-A) and other related regulator requirements.
• Ability to interface with all levels of military and civilian personnel.
• Ability to design, coordinate, and provide instructions on ELAS/SLAMS/IMPS/AFRS.
• Ability to compose presentations and demonstrations on Army Automation Systems.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government regulations and forms. Ability to create reports and write correspondence that is clear and well organized. Ability to speak effectively before all levels of military and civilian customers and chain of command.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to use basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, discounts, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills: Thorough understanding of basic computer operations. Working knowledge of MS Windows, Database Management and MS Office Professional.
Physical Demands: Extensive travel will be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee requires normal manual dexterity, speech and hearing. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job require frequent use of a computer monitor. Work Environment: Work is accomplished in a moderately clean office environment with adequate environmental (heating/cooling) control. The noise level in the work environment may occasionally be moderate due to noises associated with computer equipment, telephones and environmental control systems.
