Asymmetric Warfare Analyst / Associate/Senior Professional Staff Description:Perform cognitive engineering as a member of an interdisciplinary team developing and conducting wargames and collaborative exercises. Work with military and civilian domain experts to design visualizations of complex data and human-automation interfaces for various DoD and other US government clients. Develop expertise in the area of emerging cognitive models; develop or enhance existing cognitive models, algorithms, and simulations to tailor them for specific problems across the full range of instruments of national power. Lead/collaborate with other analysts to perform technology assessments and related analyses for various sponsors, including OSD, DTRA, OPNAV, JIEDDO, AWG, MDA, and DHS. Perform applied research in cognitive engineering. Participate in business development and marketing by interacting with military officers, DoD civilians, informally and within the context of formal marketing activities.Qualifications:Required: B.S. or M.S. in cognitive science, psychology, computer science, or industrial engineering with 5-10 years experience, or Ph.D. in one of those fields with 0-5 years experience. Demonstrated capability for independent research.
