Avionics Sales & Service Rep Skills Required: Avionics Sales, Avionics Service, Licensed Pilot, IFR, Business Development, Customer Service, Cost Estimates, Marketing Campaigns Job Description: Avionics Sales & Service RepresentativeAs Avionics Sales & Service Representative, you will be responsible to service the avionics needs of our customers by presenting avionics solutions to meet the customer demand. Avionics solutions include but not limited to product sales, service, daily follow-up, estimates, sales calls, shop scheduling, trade shows, and presentations.What you will be doing: • Meet or exceed annual sales goals. • Develop growth initiatives. • Investigating and resolving customer problems with deliveries; and coordinating sales efforts with team members and other Business Development Managers. • Lead promotions/marketing campaign to introduce innovation, new products, current products, and existing services to customer base. • Develop relationship and network with dealerships and equipment manufacturer. • Develop relationships with customer and ensure customer satisfaction with Dakota products, services and support. • To identify, prospect, and recruit new customers. • Represent the company at trade shows, seminars, meetings, and deliver sales presentations • Evaluate customer requests for equipment modification or improvements. • Network with customer base to understand current/future needs. • Maintain knowledge of market size, trends and competitive landscape at all times. • Responsible for compiling lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads • Displaying or demonstrating products, using samples or catalogs, and emphasizing salable features; • Estimating labor and component material costs for the build of avionics hardware. Cost estimation utilizing technician input, industry standards, and benchmarking practices. • Coordinates Shop workflow with Chief Inspector and Director of Maintenance. • Motivates technicians to meet customer deadlines. • Continuous Improvements: includes customer service cost metrics, quality metrics, customer satisfaction and internal processes. An ideal candidate will have: • Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred • A technical degree or equivalent avionics experience preferred • Licensed Pilot/IFR preferred • 4+ years experience sales experience (avionics equipment preferred) • Have strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills. • Prioritize and time management skills • Able to use all available marketing tools to conduct active and quality prospecting • Strong relationship building skills • Willing to work overtime and under the pressure imposed by proposal deadlines. • Very positive, enthusiastic, outgoing, highly motivated person • Strong PC skills and knowledge of MS Office Products and the Internet and all its search tools • Be independent and self-directed, and have the ability to work with limited supervision. • Background Check Required • Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required.Earn a generous base ($30-40) plus commission along with a comprehensive benefit package and a great place to work!
