Avionics Technician with A&P License

Agusta Aerospace Corporation (AAC), a division of Agusta Westland, the worlds leading international aerospace and helicopter manufacturer is searching for an Avionics Technician with A&P License. We are strategically located next to the Northeast Philadelphia airport in northeast section of Philadelphia and immediately outside of lower Bucks County, PA.

 

On Tuesday, February 19, 2008 we celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by dignitaries, parent company executives and employees to commemorate the opening of our state of art AW139 manufacturing facility. In addition to the AW139 assembly, AAC is also responsible for A119 Ke production and supporting the expanding fleet of AgustaWestland helicopters in North and South America. This plant is also provides flight and ground course training activities.

Summary of Position:

 

Reporting to the Completion Shop Supervisor performs the following duties and responsibilities:Perform ground handling and servicing of aircraftConduct routine aircraft inspections and aviation administrative dutiesInspect service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all avionics systems that perform functions of communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic aircraft flight control systems Service, maintain, troubleshoot repair and adjust AC and DC power generation, conversion and distribution systems and aircraft batteriesPerform duties in the following Aircrew Positions -130H Navigator, `Radio Operator, Sensor Systems Operator, and Basic Air crewman. HU-25ASensor Systems Operator and Basic Aircrew man. HH-60J and HH-65A Flight Mechanic and Basic Air crewman

 

A. Education: HS diploma or equivalent

 

B. Experience:  5 years as electro/avionics installer.

 

C. Competencies & AttributesElectro/avionics - installer Rotary or fixed wing General aviation pilots license and strong troubleshooting skills with a comprehensive understanding of electro/avionics systems 

·  Comprehensive understanding of electro/avionics system as well as their integration into aircraft strong PLUS

 

D. Licensure/CertificationA&P
