 Capstone's Military / Civil Operations division is currently seeking a motivated and talented individual who can offer the knowledge, skills, and experience as a Battle Watch Specialist in Chicago, IL.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        Monitoring worldwide events that may impact the Navy shore installations enterprise, including personnel and resources.

·        Collecting, producing and disseminating information for reports and briefings with a sense of urgency.

·        Monitoring, drafting, and releasing Defense message system traffic.

·        Assists in conducting analysis and developing courses of action to support operational requirements.

·        Assists in supporting deliberate and crisis action planning for the Navy Regional Commander.

·        Coordination with other DoD Services and various Federal and Local Governmental agencies.

·        Position requires personnel to work (12 hour shifts) 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

 

Qualifications:

 MILITARY WATCH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- A minimum of an Associates Degree or 5+ years Military experience.
- Experience in plans and operations.
- Strong written and oral skills and the ability to present sensitive data to senior military leaders in a succinct manner.
- Able to perform duties independently, and be a self starter with intuitive skills to analyze data and draw valid conclusions from multiple information sources.
- Intermediate MS Office user.
- An active secret security clearance, or ability to obtain an interim clearance before reporting for duty.- An active secret security clearance and/or the ability to obtain an interim clearance before reporting for duty.
