Biometrics Program Manager

 

A leading systems engineering and integration firm in Northern Virginia has an opportunity available for a senior-level Biometrics engineering professional to manage a new contract.  Interested candidates should have a strong Biometric systems engineering background and have significant knowledge and experience in the government contracting industry.

 

Position responsibilities will include:

 

· Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and production of all contract support activities. 

· Meets with appropriate Client/Government management personnel, other contractor managers, and client agency representatives. 

· Responsible for ensuring coordination between project personnel and all management personnel, both within the company and with appropriate government personnel. 

· Assigns, schedules, and reviews work of subordinates. 

· Continually reviews performance and recommends changes to statement of work as necessary. Responsible for managing and evaluating the performance of personnel supporting the program.



Interested candidates should have a minimum of 10+ years of systems engineering experience, to include strong knowledge of current biometrics products and systems integration.  Experience should include managing biometrics systems engineering efforts, to include federal government contracting.  A Bachelor's degree (or a Master’s degree with 8 years of experience) from an accredited college or university in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a mathematics-intensive discipline is required. 

 

Candidates should be able to travel as necessary (up to a maximum of 50%).
