Business Development Manager / Marketing Manager - Military Electronics

This is an opportunity to join a major East Coast leader in the design, production and support of Electronic warfare protection systems. I am advertising in order to locate candidates interested in working and living in the New York/New Jersey suburbs.

 

You will be responsible for developing strategies and business capture plans to meet the company’s sales goals. You will maintain excellent customer relationships and assure a seamless integration between the Program Office and the customer. You will maintain liaison with government agencies, professional organizations, and others to determine the status of current RF and Infrared/Electro-Optical programs, and identify new business opportunities.

 

Ten or more years experience in domestic or international marketing of electronic warfare or radar systems is preferred, but will consider marketing experience with other kinds of defense electronics. MBA preferred, plus BS degree in Engineering or Marketing. Should have a proven track record in military systems marketing and business development. Working knowledge of US Government procurement processes as well as acquisition organizations and agencies is preferred, as is experience in active military duty. Must be able to obtain a US Department of Defense security clearance. Must be able to travel extensively.
