Job Category: Administrative/Clerical Job Requisition Number: Q10938 The Lead Business Systems Analyst position contributes to IT functions as well as to the internal customers who depend on guidance and consulting on technologies and systems. The position is located in York, PA supporting the Land & Armaments operating group, Ground Systems line of business. This position Participates on project teams of an advanced nature and defines systems requirements for complex systems that will be accessible by internal customers from various facilities across the United States. Determine appropriate technologies to design and implement applications. This position analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, marketing and human resources systems. Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments. Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Participates in developing end-user documentation and may conduct testing. IT lead on project teams with functional departments in preparation of proposals, evaluation, planning, systems analysis, design and implementation. Plan IT activities as they relate to business systems. Utilize technology tools to create functional and technical specifications, business process flows and end-user documentation. Ability to listen, understand, interpret and document end-customer requirements. Technical export for business systems. Conducts systems training for new technology and methods. Must Have the Following: U.S. Citizen. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of IT SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). SQL knowledge. Project Management. 11+ Years with HS or 7+ Years with AA or 5+ Years with BS or 2+ Years with MS or 0+ Years with PhD. Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to new technologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Can work independently or within a group with little or no supervision producing consistently exceptional work. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and work non-standard hours when required. Ability to work with people and exhibit exceptional interpersonal, social, practical and diplomatic skills.Prefer to Have the Following: Oracle eBusiness ERP knowledge Unix and Oracle database.
