Business Scheduling & Control Specialist 3 Position Description Development, integration, verification, resource loading, status, maintenance of Program-wide, Project-specific and IPT / CAM / Work Package schedules including detailed network logic; Responsible and accountable for validating compliance with Integrated Scheduling (IS), Integrated Performance Management (IPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM), contractual / program requirements, and industry standards; Weekly and monthly coordination and status of the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) schedules and all lower level detailed and supporting schedules; Coordination and maintenance of supplier schedule data; Load resources into Open Plan Professional (OPP) per the Control Account Plan (CAP) report worked in partnership with the Business & Planning Analyst (B&PA); Produce and analyze weekly and monthly schedule and cost data validation reports to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency; Maintain Integrated Scheduling process integrity and data integrity in all levels of schedules to ensure the single-source, logically networked, resource loaded, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) contains all the tasks and activities required and/or necessary to complete the Statement of Work (SOW) requirements; Development, coordination, and analysis of Network Logic, Critical Path Methodology (CPM), and Float assessment to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable integrated schedule baseline, status, and forecast data; Bottoms-up schedule validation and commitment; Disciplined team-to-team integration, vertical / horizontal traceability, and configuration control; Perform regular schedule analysis and assessment to provide visibility, guidance, and recommendations regarding schedule performance and Integrated Scheduling processes, procedures, and products; Development, assessment, integration, and maintenance of What-if, Work-Around, and Recovery schedules; Coordinate and prepare Baseline Change Requests (BCR); Provide Business & Planning Analysts and Business Managers with accurate, complete, and timely schedule status and analysis, including risks and opportunities, to support the development of Estimates at Completion (EACs); In partnership with the Business & Planning Analysts assist the Control Account Managers (CAMs) with the assessment and analysis of schedule and cost performance and preparation of schedule variance analysis reports; Prepare, analyze, and provide periodic Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs) and coordinate the incorporation of risk mitigation plans into schedules; Prepare, analyze, and present required and supporting schedules as well as all schedule-related reports for quarterly, monthly, and/or weekly Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Business Management Reviews (BMRs), standard deck, customer reviews, surveillance, audits, etc.; Prepare, analyze, and present quarterly, monthly, and weekly schedule health metrics, schedule performance metrics, trend analysis, validation reports, and supporting data; Support the on-going Integrated Performance Management (IPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) surveillance process and the Integrated Scheduling Process Maturity Model (i.e. Best Practice) Assessments including definition and implementation of improvement action plans. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's and 6 to 9 years' related work experience, a Master's degree and 4 to 7 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
