Southwest United Industries, Inc., a leader in aerospace plating and anodizing, is searching for a Chemist.  The Chemist will be responsible for sampling, analysis, control and maintenance of all processing and process related chemical solutions, before, during and after production use, as required to comply with company, customer and government requirements, guidelines and regulation.  Other duties include:

 Maintain proper and up-to-date daily records of all activities to comply with company, customer and government guidelines and regulations.  This includes records of receipt, analysis, usage, modification, maintenance, testing and disposal as appropriate.  Establish and maintain effective procedures to insure all equipment used to test or control processing solutions are always operating at an efficiency level that will not allow risk of process failure to occur.  This includes, but is not limited to, all laboratory equipment and all shop pumps, filters, temperature controllers, feeders. Perform process control tests, assists in investigation of process failures and provides objective analysis. 


Successful candidate must have 3 years equivalent experience and Bachelor of Science in Chemistry; experience in metal finishing a plus.
