CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR I

Join a corporate contract division in an entry-level position to provide a broad range of pre-award, award, and post-award contracting functions and support to a diverse group of customers in areas such as software engineering and development, advisory and assistant services, mission planning, and technical support services. Requirements: Candidate should have 1 - 3 years of experience working with DOD industry or government in contracting and/or subcontracting on Manpower Support, Advisory and Assistant Services, Hardware/Software development programs, or Research and Development. Have working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition regulation (FAR) and other US Government contracting rules and procedures, impacting Defense Contractors. Have a Bachelors degree is a business related area (contracting, acquisition management, accounting/finance, management, etc.) or related/equivalent work experience. Be a self-starter with the ability to work well with others and also independently in order to meet tight schedule deadlines and produce high quality work. Be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft ® Office products. It is desired that the candidate be:Have experience in the 64P specialty code or equivalent in the US Armed Forces or have prior experience in the GS-1102, 1105, 1106 job series of the Federal GovtUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
