ITT Electronic Systems, RS Gilfillan develops, manufacturers, and services world-class radar, antenna and related sensor systems for the air traffic control (ATC) and air defense (AD) and other applications. 

 

Exciting opportunity in our Van Nuys, CA location for a dynamic, self starter to perform contract management primarily for advanced, large and complex programs, and represent the company in contractual communications with the customer.  Will propose, negotiate and administer contracts directly with customers, including terms and conditions, statement of work and related pricing factors.   Provides counsel to management regarding proposed contract liability, terms and conditions and compatibility with established company practices. Assures that proposals are in consonance with the applicable U.S. or foreign laws/regulations,  and ITT policies and procedures and have been approved at the appropriate ITT management level.

 

Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, related field or equivalent applicable experience LLB or MBA desirable. A minimum of 10 years experience in contract administration is required, preferably managing large complex systems and engineering contracts. A comprehensive knowledge of Government contracts, policies, pricing and accounting principles, and a basic knowledge of the engineering aspects of company products, is essential.  International background highly desired.
