Job Description

For the past 25 years, Barron Associates has been providing innovative engineering and scientific R&D and technical services to customers throughout the U.S.  Our researchers employ intelligent and adaptive technologies to measure, model, predict, and control complex systems. Current research areas include aerospace guidance and controls, biomedical sensing and signal processing, and vehicle diagnostic technology.

We are seeking highly motivated engineers and scientists with a concentration in control systems or signal processing and with strong analytical/math skills.  Experience or course work with aerospace applications is a plus.  Qualified candidates have an opportunity to contribute to the development and analysis of new technologies in simulations and experimental settings.  This is an exceptional opportunity for talented individuals with outstanding academic/professional track records. Barron Associates provides a dynamic and engaging environment with plenty of guidance, mentoring, and collaboration among peers.  Each team member has the opportunity to develop and apply the skills required to solve challenging problems in a wide range of topics.

We offer superb pay and benefits, including 401k, medical, tuition reimbursement, and profit-sharing plans that are unmatched among other similar businesses.  Applicants should have a Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Biomedical, or similar Engineering disciplines.  Experience in JAVA, C/C++ and MATLAB a plus. U.S. CITIZENSHIP or PERMANENT RESIDENCY REQUIRED.

Barron Associates is located in Charlottesville, VA, the hometown of the University of Virginia, the state’s flagship university, and Thomas Jefferson’s home, Monticello.  Charlottesville was rated by Frommer's as the best place to live in America in 2004 and listed among Money magazine's 100 best places to live for four years in a row.
