CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

 

 

Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) at SFOIA is seeking a full time Customer Service Specialist. Major responsibilities include:Communicates directly with customers providing information on shipments and resolving other customer issues, Sales and Cargo Operations Process cargo reservations and coordinate space/revenue control in communications with other branches. Provide customers with flight information, irregularity reports, and special cargo handling instructions (such as oversized, DG’s and other necessary services required from a customer satisfaction perspective). Monitors daily bookings to maximize revenue per flight and ensure maximum space efficiency Create and maintain a customer database and provide information to sales staff, to assist in conducting efficient sales activities in the region Analyze flight and customer performance to enhance efficient distribution of space allocation of flights.  Compile and Analyze traffic/freight data to provide marketing intelligence to management and sales staff. Other administrative responsibilities as necessary. Maintain records/files such as airway bills, flights, contracts, allocation sheets and airway bill dispositions.

 

Position requires excellent communication and computer skills. Highly organized with great administrative follow-up. Requires a min. 2-3 yrs. exp. in customer service/air cargo/transportation.  We offer an excellent salary and benefits plan commensurate with experience.
