Cable Integration Engineer

Description of Work: Engineering Family (F,E)Systems integration role for cable and harness planning, procurement, parts management, build oversight, hardware testing, hardware delivery, and systems integration into prototype vehicles.Should know cable design and build process, material requisition and procurement process, shipping and recieving, testing process and manufacturing capabilities.Individual will work as a systems integration section liasion between the Core Vetronics Subsystem IPT and the Prototype Build shop. Responsibility includes issue documentation and resolution through problem reporting and change management system. Therefore, interface with configuration management and physical architecture teams.Job Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline required. Other technical disciplines will be considered with related experience.2. Six (6) or more years of related experience required, as a minimum:-Experience with Pro/E Wildfire 2.0, Pro/I 3.4 and Windchill 7.0 PTC products -Virtual integration experience with lightweight visualization tools -Systems Engineering experience and training -Prototype build coordination -MRP Training -Hummingbird -E-Cards3. Strong Leadership skills coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills4. Ability to work with other departments within GDLS5. Ability to present data effectively to internal and external customer6. Ability to be granted a Government security clearance7. Knowledge of military vehicle systems is highly desired8. Good PC skills, ability in Microsoft applications9. May require some travel, overtime and laboratory work10. Must be a US Citizen, able to obtain and hold a DoD secret clearance11.
