Centerless Grinder

A world leader in the production and management of primary aluminum, fabricated aluminum and alumina combined, is looking for a Centerless Grinder.

 

 

Requirements:

· Must be able to set-up and operate Centerless Grinders; use the necessary measuring tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Dial Indictors, Comparator, etc.) Must be able to operate the OM, EA and Automatic Centerless Grinders.

· Must be self-motivated, flexible and have good communication skills.

· Must be knowledgeable of applicable safety requirements pertaining to the safe operation of the Centerless Grinder. 

· Must be able to read blue prints, follow work order instructions and use the proper measuring tools.

· Must have knowledge of grinding T / D Angle head and Button head parts and understanding of head protrusion gauging.

· SPC knowledge highly desirable.

· High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum of 5 years of experience.
