Chief Engineer, New Programs

Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.

Lead the Boeing Replacement Studies development program. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, Advanced Platforms. Drive both inter and intra system integration across all business units including Air Management Systems, Electric Systems, Power Systems and Engine Systems.

Lead technology development required for a suite of highly integrated aircraft subsystems. Key technologies to include: Vapor cycle systems, generator and motor controller technology and advanced APU technology. The candidate will need the ability to 'boil down' high level requirements into creative engineering solutions.

-Key system Performance Metrics
-Schedule
-Earned Value Management
-Requirement flow down and traceability
-Specifications
-Weight tracking and reporting

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Position requirs 6-10+ years engineering experience in Aerospace Systems. Airplane system integration experience; electrical and/or mechanical system integration experience preferred.

10-20% travel required
