Commercial Program Manager

Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.

Responsible for managing critical APU development for a major commericial program. Cross-functional team, including engineering, is matrixed to this position. Accountable for budget, staffing, and business/operational results for the program. Is the organization interface with functions in resolving program issues. Customer focal point and responsible for customer satisfaction. Leads internal and external program reviews. Assures customer contracts and requirements are met and control.

BS engineering or business mgmt; MBA preferred.

Extensive program management experience on major aerospace development programs (7+ years). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Previous customer interface experience and proven track record of customer satisfaction required.

Extensive experience leading teams.

25% travel expected
