Job Title: Communication Systems Trainer

Job Duties/Responsibilities: The candidate will work in SPAWAR Systems Center, Charleston (SSCC) Building 198 to support programs within the Marine Corps Expeditionary C4I Systems Community of Interest (COI).  Travel up to 60% in both CONUS and OCONUS.

 

Technical duties: Develop course training material for USMC tactical radio training (SINCGARS, HF, and Multiband radios).  Conduct training on USMC C4ISR systems. Train service personnel on various radios. Provide support to various mobile, tactical USMC C4ISR systems. Read and interpret schematics, drawings and other technical documents. Support demonstrations, exercises and programmatic functions, as required. Prepare Training Communications equipment assets for shipment, as required. Evacuation of Training Communications equipment assets  for maintenance Prepare material for shipment to disparate commands, as required.  Programming experience with ORACLE RDBMS, minimum 3 years.

 

Experience with any of the following: TAC-300 System Multi-plexing Asynchronous Transfer Mode Routers and switches Fireberd 6000/8000 AN/GRC-245 radio CV-FOM/CV-HTU

 

 

Education/Experience Requirements: High school graduate and minimum of 3 years experience in a communications operations section.  Possess a Secret Security Clearance, at a minimum.  Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, in English.  Demonstrate basic computer skills, to include basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products.  Electronic and electrical circuitry knowledge is a plus.
