Compensation and Benefits Specialist
Dassault Falcon Jet Corporation, the recognized leader in the sale and service of Falcon business jets, has an excellent opportunity for a Compensation and Benefits professional in our US headquarters at Teterboro, NJ.The Compensation & Benefits Specialist handles administration and analysis of the Company's compensation and benefits programs.
Responsibilities
Administers and maintains the Wage and Salary Program, ranking new positions in the Program and updating and reissuing as necessaryConducts research, analyzes and evaluates compensation issues and makes recommendations accordinglyHandles administration of the annual merit increase processReviews salary survey questionnaires for accuracy Assures adherence to all federal and state laws as well as regulations and Company policies in the salary administration processAdministers the 401(K) Plan, including interfacing with employees/families, serving as a liaison with outside recordkeeping/trust firm and consulting company, and handling monthly computer interface files sent to and received from outside recordkeeping firmCoordinates, in conjunction with outside benefit consulting firm, Form 5500s for the 401(K) and Pension Plans and VIP PlansServes as back-up in conducting new employee orientations and outprocessing terminating employees
Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Relations/Human Relations, or equivalent work experienceFive to seven years professional human resources experience in the compensation and benefit areas to include the following:(1) Administering compensation and benefits programs (including wage & salary programs, welfare benefits, 401(K) plans and defined benefit plans) (2) Conducting analysis of and research into these programs (3) Preparing communication materials (4) Conducting job analysis (5) Preparing government required reports such as Form 5500s and Summary Annual Reports (6) Creating and generating reports through a computerized HR information system (7) Developing recommendations for changes to existing programs and/or recommendations for new programs (8) Implementing new programs and/or changes to existing programs independentlyAbility to interface effectively with all levels of employees within the organizationExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently on higher level special projectsAbility to exercise discretion and sound judgement in the handling of confidential material and informationStrong organizational and planning skillsProficiency with MS Office SuiteAbility to work under pressure and overtime when required, to meet deadlinesExperience in developing and/or revising Personnel PoliciesExperience in budget preparationCEBS designation a plus
