JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

A senior network engineer with the SPAWAR Tactical Switching group providing hands on network engineering support, design, integration, and final verification to Navy NOC locations around the world.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

 

· Strong knowledge and experience with configuring and troubleshooting router and switching networks

· Significant experience working with and configuring KG network encryptors.

Minimum 4 years work experience in developing and analyzing systems.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

BS, or equivalent experience in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or Business, or other related field.  12 years experience with 8 years of related technical specialized experience may be substituted for education.

 

Secret (or higher) clearance required.

 

Travel up to 20% or as required.

 

COMMENTS: 

Prefer CCIE candidates

Previous experience with Naval networks a plus.

Previous experience with Timeplex Synchrony ST-1000 switching and transport nodes preferred.

 

Due to the nature of work performed in our facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
