Configuration Management Analyst, Military Engines

Pratt & Whitney is seeking for a highly motivated individual willing to learn the intricate details of the Configuration Management Discipline.

The CM organization provides a unique system level vantage point of not just engine architecture, but also of how the major business units across Pratt & Whitney feed data to deliver product.

The Analyst performs a variety of functions including writing and processing engineering changes, creating and maintaining bills of material and providing business process consult to other organizations.

Responsibilities include:
-Working closely with our key customers: System Design Integration, IPTs, CIPTs and the Engine Center to support the activities of the Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and the engineering change process.
-Support the initiatives of the CM department, SD&CI and DI&BS to maintain continuous improvement programs.
-Be an individual driver of process improvement efforts to increase CM efficiency and reduce CM turn-time.



BS in Engineering or equivalent with 5-7 years of experience.






Candidates should have:
- Experience with CM procedures, the IPD process and the engineering change process
- Proficiency in Teamcenter, Business Objects, SAP and Product Definition tools
- Task leadership abilities
- Proven continuous improvement programs proficiency level.
- High level of attention to detail
- Knowledge of AFS books and ATCAPP a plus
- Knowledge of NXManager a plus






Candidates with experience in Design, Project or Product Definition can excel in this role although high energy individuals willing to learn the discipline are also encouraged to apply.
