Job Responsibilities:

Following general instruction, with some discretion as to work details, administers and coordinates assigned activities involving in accepting, monitoring, and performing contracts and subcontracts between the company and customers.

- Gather a variety of pre contract information for analysis prior to contract award.

- Assists in the preparation of contract documents and content.

- Analyzes contract documents to determined contractual obligations, preparing recommendations regarding acceptance or modification and conditions of acceptance.

- Monitors company performance on routine contractual obligations.

- Provides liaison between customer and company personnel with regards to contract commitment, modification, and revision.

- Monitor the coordination of contract termination activities, property transfer, and the like.

- Review pertinent government procurement regulations and commercial contract practice trends.

- Makes or participates in special studies, investigations, or analysis as assigned and compiles required reports.

 

Experience:

- Practical and working knowledge of contract practices and regulations and analytical skills as would normally be obtained through the receipt of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent field.

- Additional academic preparations in contract law are highly desirable.

- Four years of experience in the preparation and monitoring of contracts, including government procurement is required.
