Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. The Contract Administrator 3 will report to the VP of Contracts for the Logistics Division. This position will have the following responsibilities:Lead and/or conduct contract proposal preparation, contract negotiation and administration for the most complex and major contracts. Monitor company performance for conformance to original proposal and maintains continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations. Maintain in-depth familiarity with the details of each assigned contract (i.e. special/general provisions, prices, delivery, profit or fee, change status, restrictive clauses, etc.) Identify potential contractual problems or conflicts and analyzes impact/ramifications. Evaluate and develops alternative solutions to contractual issues. Prepare and disseminate information throughout the company regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination. Initiate documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications. Prepare special reports and analysis as required. Provides work leadership/technical guidance to all other contractual administrators and will perform all other duties assigned.
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or related discipline and 8 years of experience. In lieu of formal education, 16 years of directly related work experience is required. Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.Seasoned professional who applies advanced knowledge of theories, principles and concepts in specialized field. Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of contract administration including government regulations/procedures. Advanced negotiation skills/techniques and experience. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel. Strong analytical skills and business acumen to make sound management decisions/recommendations. In-depth knowledge of large and complex proposal processes.
Additional Qualifications:Government contracting experience in a service environment preferred.
