Best of all, our employees share in the success which results from that growth. Contracts Administrator Specialist – 8414 A&F Position SummarySeeking a contracts professional to perform contract administration of sales orders in excess of $12 million annually.  Manage day-to-day sales order administration activities.  Prepare sales forecasts.  Prepare proposals and conduct negotiations. Duties will include, but not limited to:  Administers contacts for complex products and systems to ensure fulfillment of contractual fiscal and performance obligations. Defines requirements, generates proposals, monitors performance, negotiates pricing and terms, and ensures compliance with contract requirements.  Determines customer requirements for major, long-term contracts and new products and/or systems (e.g. proposals that include engineering design and system hardware). Responsibilities 1. Prepare the Original and Mid-Year Sales Forecast.2. Administer sales orders in accordance with the GPM and AFD Operating Procedures.3. Prepare proposals, review/recommend contract terms, develop negotiation strategies and conduct negotiations.4. Interface with Group and other Divisions on legal/contractual issues for common customers.5. Ensure contractual compliance on all programs including delivery and quality performance. Requirements Bachelors degree (BA) in Business Administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field. Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through eight or more years of related experience. Knowledgeable of the POPS order entry system, AMAPS MRP system and Data Warehouse. Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project. Effective leadership and project management skills. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Skillful in creating and conducting formal presentations to management and customers.
