Email: Apply by Email Contracts Administrator/Manager Insitu Inc. has been named one of the fastest growing private companies and best in governmental services by many business periodicals.  As we continue our rapid growth in the UAS/UAV market we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Contracts Administrator/Manager.  The ideal candidate will possess a four-year degree in business or related field of study and seven years experience with government contracts. Extensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) is essential to the success in this position.  Insitu leads in the design, development and production of small autonomous aircraft for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), including advanced integrated command, control, and video tools for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR).  We currently produce and sell an ever growing fleet of Unmanned Aircraft Systems that are low-cost, long-endurance, and have low personnel requirements. These UASs provide a no-runway launch, unprecedented stabilized day and night video for ISR, robotic flight control, and a no-nets capture. This opportunity requires ability to perform contract activity with moderate to high risk to the business unit. Selected contract activity may be non-routine and require development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives. Requires independent judgment and analysis of significant issue identification and resolution.  Responsibilities Responsible for administering and monitoring contracts with various federal and commercial agencies, including but not limited to: • Assisting in the development and responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs • Monitor contracts and services for compliance • Lead and conduct pricing proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration of federal government prime contracts and first tier-subcontracts• Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts and subcontracts utilizing applicable Federal and Agency regulations • Prepare and manage subcontractor agreements and teaming agreements • Prepare reports for the organization and executive management • Negotiate contracts with customers • Review and resolve all sales contractual agreements of the company • Full life cycle contract administration in the Government and commercial sectors, including administering pre and post award activities, negotiating agreements, reviewing RFP’s, drafting and administering agreements with subcontractors, processing modifications, and administering subcontracting plans. • Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions • Identifies risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution • Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met • Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc. • Manages daily workload of assigned Contract Management personnel and project or business personnel assisting with the contract management function • Acts as the primary contact between the program managers and/or business unit and Legal ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly • Responsible for assigned Contract Management, project or business personnel adhering to company policies and procedures • Responsible for informing the program managers of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance • Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement • May provide training to Contract Management personnel. Relationships: • Reports to:  Vice President & General Counsel • Supervises: one Contract Administrator;  Works with other Legal Services Team members; Supports Program Management and Sales Team;  • External Relationships:  Customer procurement/contract management professionals, vendor representatives and other customer project personnel.  Requirements Secret Clearance •Minimum of 7 years experience in Contracts Administration/Management and Federal Contracting • Hands-on knowledge of the FAR and DFARS preferably through work with DOD, DOJ, FAA or NASA • Experience in a variety of contract types (T&M, IDIQ, FFP, CPFF) • Very strong oral and written communication skills • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience desired  Education Bachelors degree in Business or a related field or equivalent experience required. Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) required.  Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) desired.
