Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Job Requisition Number: Q10974 Responsibilities include getting quotations and staging purchases in online shopping carts. Before procurement begins the IS Coordinator reviews customer request and verifies them as standard hardware and software request with proper management approval. If the request is non-standard hardware or software the IS Coordinator will clarify these request by contacting customers and technical staff. Once the purchase is approved your job is to interact with the vendors to get quotations and stage purchases. It may be necessary to contact customers or technical leads directly for further clarification once you have engaged the vendor. You will use our Action Request System (Remedy), E-mail and Exostar B2B PunchOut to streamline some of your procurement processes. You will stage purchases for computer hardware, software and peripherals. Responsibilities may shift in a growing environment as processes are improved. Must Have the Following: U.S. Citizen. Understand basic computer, server, printer, peripheral terminology. Knowledge of COTS applications, Remedy, and B2B PunchOut (Exostar). 2+ Years with HS. Creative hard working person to provide input to management for process improvement is required. We are starting a common process between York, PA and Santa Clara, CA. The candidate for this position should have a penchant for change in this developing environment. They will need to adjust to new processes and understand roles may change as processes improve. As a Coordinator/Buyer this position requires good communication skills and a proactive person.Prefer to Have the Following: Understands the basic specifications for purchasing computer hardware.
