Corporate Lean Practitioner

As our Corporate Lean Practitioner, you will lead the implementation of Lean tools, methods and mentorships for continuous improvement in a rapidly growing Company.  Travel is expected ~ 70% of the time.

 



This position directs and supports Lean processes and systems to continually improve Lean performance in our organization.  Influences, makes recommendations and takes appropriate action to provide strategic direction and leadership for Lean.

Job responsibilities include:Ensure leadership and mentorship while incorporating essential elements of Lean in business planning processes and accountabilities, ensures compliance with internal policies and corporate policies. Serve as leader, educator, liaison and partner in pursuing excellence and value in the plants and/or office using the concepts of Continuous Improvement. Clearly communicate the issues and relative data that impact the quality of Lean, as well as the improvement tools necessary to support change.Provide education and support of CI tools & concepts.  Provide coordination and reporting of Lean indicators.  Evaluate Lean against established benchmark data and compliance.  Create and support an environment that fosters and supports teamwork.Eliminate problems and process constraints that may have an application for non-traditional problem-solving approach and/or solutions; apply non-traditional problem-solving techniques as appropriate on a case-by-case basis.

Position Qualifications:4-year college degree or 2–5 years of applicable Lean experience is required.Strong oral and written communication skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
