DESIGN ENGINEER GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR A DESIGN ENGINEER TO WORK WITH OUR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TEAM:This position will design, develop, and test cutting-edge products.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Work closely with customers and consultants to define new product needs- Design and oversee the manufacture of unique products and associated tooling- Develop manufacturing processes and test programs to ensure product quality and reliability- Perform risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies to maintain manufacturing process capability REQUIREMENTS- Capable of working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment- Must be willing to travel (10%)- Product and process design experience- Demonstrated mechanical or electromechanical design experience- Experience with technical report writing and presentations- BSME, plus 1-3 years related experience- Experience preparing test plans and procedures- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude including use of basic hand tools- Proficiency with MS Office and CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar software)- Experience designing, conducting, and documenting product testing (DOE)- Some experience with modern FEA software (ANSYS, ALGOR)- Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently- Experience in or basic knowledge of semiconductor processes and equipment a plus BENEFITSBenefits begin the first of the month after date of hire.  These benefits include: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, 401K (employer contributes), quarterly bonus check, and much more.EOE/AA
