Director, Aviation Quality/Safety

Direct the Safety and Quality Assurance program for major MRO facility.

Coalesce a large former military and civilian technical community to “buy-in” to maintenance and flight operations safety program.

Work closely with company peers and industry to maintain the company’s competitive position in the vanguard of advances of aviation safety.

Develop and implement training and development programs to keep maintenance and operations personnel fully conversant with the latest industry standards.

Develop audit checklists to effectively define the required audit activities.

Communicate and implement Quality Assurance and Safety procedures and directives,

 

Qualifications:

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 audit, certification and implementation processes

Quality System Management background in aviation environment

Knowledge of FAA regulations (FAR’s) desirable

Formal military training as Quality Assurance Representative/Technical Inspector
