Director of Contracts

SCCI is currently seeking innovative and motivated candidates for a Director of Finance position at our Corporate office in Frederick, Maryland.

Essential Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree 10+ years experience administering U.S. Government contracts, including GSA Schedules and all contract types including firm fixed price, cost plus fixed fee, cost plus incentive fee, cost plus award fee and time and material contractsExperience with contract negotiation, pricing and cost proposal development, negotiation of nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements and subcontractsThoroughly knowledgeable and conversant with U.S. Government procurement regulations including the FAR, DFARS and agency specific supplementsExperience working with and briefing senior management on contract issuesMicrosoft Office proficiency

Preferred Skills and Experience:Experience working with SeaPort-e is strongly desired

Position Responsibilities:

 

 Administration of complex contractsDeveloping and coordinating activities for price and cost proposalsDeveloping pricing strategies to ensure competitive proposalsAll negotiations of contract terms and conditions Reviewing, summarizing, and briefing senior / executive level management on contract terms and conditionsEstablishing and maintaining an appropriate  contract reporting systemAssuring compliance with industrial and government requirementsComplying with security requirements
