Director of Quality

Large international aerospace company is looking for a Director of Quality. This person will be responsible for directing the site conversion from quality inspection to Quality-at-the-Source, Implement  Lean and continuous improvement processes. champion site and supply chain development of root cause corrective actions to achieve best-in-class customer ratings and improve COPQ for the site.  Benchmark and transfer best practices as required to support Shingo Prize achievement.  Also responsible for driving and maintaining site skill-set training, managing internal / external quality assessments, and coordinating matrix quality functions across the site.  The successful candidate will also be the FAA accountable quality representative, as well as the customer focal for site quality. Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:o Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline,o Experience leading Lean Quality System conversionso Lean training from a recognized provider (e.g. Shingijutsu)o Strong communication skillso Experience in leading high-performing teamso Working effectively in a union environmento 10 years FAA and AS9100 quality or engineering experience in a manufacturing environmento Six Sigma Blackbelt a pluso Shingo experience a plus MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
