Location: Alexandria, VA 22315 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project, Employee Pay Rate: Depending on Experience Reference Code: 1001047201 Job Description:  Performs declassification review of Army records in accordance with Executive Order 12958, as amended.  The position requires people who have excellent reading and comprehension skills, understand records management and have over four years of experience working in the declassification or records management areas.Required Skills:  An Associates and 2 years of related experience in declassifying historical government documents.  Applicant must complete specialized training in E.O. 12958 requirements, the declassification analysis process, use of classification guides, recognition of Army equities, proper disposition of documents reviewed and mastery of automated tools and tracking system.  Applicant must successfully complete training by Department of Energy and be certified as Historical Records Reviewers for the purpose of identifying Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data in documents under review.  Applicant must also be able to recognize equities from other agencies and make proper referrals of documents to those agencies.
