EEE Parts Engineer

Seeking an electronic parts engineer with experience in aerospace flight-qualified EEE parts, materials, and processes. Candidate should have experience supporting NASA or DOD programs within the past 5 years.  Position will consist of developing EEE Parts processes for satellite programs that are compliant with prime customer parts and radiation requirements. Tasks include performing technical evaluations of existing processes and performing system-level risk assessments against specific program requirements, develop plans for new technology that provide a basis for the evaluation of the implementation risk, and participating in various parts control boards.  Candidate should have a proven track record of being able to generate all applicable documentation to support parts programs and selection. Past experience working with government entities is highly desirable.  Electrical/electronic design experience would also be helpful. Due to our growing aerospace contracts, we anticipate more than one position meeting the above description.  No clearances are required but must be a US citizen. MEI Technologies offers a very competitive hourly rate for associates and also provides a 401K plan with matching.  No relocation assistance is available.  We offer flexibility in work schedule and location and will readily consider qualified retirees.
