JOB DESCRIPTION:

Works under general direction and guidance of a Project Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer to carry out assignments associated with research, design or development of specific electrical or electronic components, computer software, or related subsystems of a project.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.  Provides in depth electrical, electronic or software engineering analysis of  military GPS systems.
2.  Applies engineering theory and principles to conceptualize, design, invent and/or develop military electrical and electronic systems that meet specific performance requirements; contributes significantly at subsystem level of design projects from inception to completion.
3.  Performs work which involves conventional and complex electrical and software engineering practice in applying judgment to resolving conflicting design requirements.
4.  Provides technical direction; assigns tasks; and oversees work of designers, drafters and engineering technicians for assigned projects.
5.  Coordinates with appropriate technical and support groups to ensure designs meet standards and performance requirements.



Must Have the Following: B.S. Degree in Engineering (major in electrical engineering), A minimum of 6 years' experience in Electrical or Software  Engineering. Knowledge of electrical and/or software engineering practices and principles; good technical writing, oral communication and presentation skills and developed problem solving skills required. High mental/visual application required to conduct engineering analyses. GPS Anti - Jammer experience or knowledgeMust be a US citizenability to attain a minimum secret level clearance
