Electrical Engineer II (2nd) (CIV)

Communicate with factory workers, support personnel, management and suppliers on technical issues. Evaluate and resolve yield, test and obsolete part issues with factory and suppliers and develop strategies to insure resolution is robust. Assist factory in troubleshooting hardware. Develop, document and report troubleshooting methods for factory use. Maintain test procedures and hardware drawings. Occasional off site support at suppliers and/or customer in resolution of technical issues. Required Skills: « Must have 2-4 years overall electronics operational knowledge and ability to apply it in a practical situation. « Must have the ability to use test equipment to evaluate circuit operation at component level. « Must have 2-4 years working knowledge of disciplines outside of electronics (i.e. mechanical, test). « Must have 2-4 years of good communication and technical writing abilities maintaining concise and accurate inputs. Desired Skills: « Experience with EO/IR systems, servo control loops, CRT and control interface circuits using FPGA and microcontrollers.
