Embedded Software Design Engineer for a rapidly growing aerospace engineering company

Aversan Inc. is currently seeking qualified Embedded Software Design Engineers to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidates for these full time positions will be part of a team developing and testing safety critical real-time embedded software for sophisticated technology applications. Responsibilities range from software design and implementation of the software. Other tasks may include documentation of software design. You will be part of a highly motivated and highly technical work environment feeding off the collective energy of a team-oriented work environment.

Experience and qualifications in one or more of the following areas is essential: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years of software development experience in the C or C++ programming languages is required.Knowledge and experience of software lifecycles and software engineering design principles. Knowledge of embedded Software and Hardware design. Able to work as a team with systems, hardware and software design engineers. Knowledge and experience of software development tools such as compilers, editors, debuggers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and logic analyzers. Experience with Rational Rose design an asset.

Must be a current U.S. citizen.
