The following opportunity exists in our Employee Relations Department, at our Houston, Texas location: Job ID 225355 Business Ops III


Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline plus 4 years of position related experience; or have a minimum of 10 years of position related experience. Candidate must possess demonstrated successful career level Employee Relations experience in handling employee relations complaints, investigations and problem resolution; interpreting and administering company and HR policies and procedures and benefits policies. Must have strong knowledge of federal and state employment/labor laws. Must be able to handle highly confidential issues, communicate and strategize effectively with all levels of employees and management. Must have demonstrated history of excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and teamwork/teambuilding skills.


Duties and Responsibilities: As an employee relations representative, selected candidate will be responsible for providing effective HR services by delivering comprehensive senior HR consultant services to assigned customers. The ER rep will provide proactive advise and assist management and employees regarding Human Resources policies and procedures to ensure fair and equitable treatment and resolution of employee issues. This position will ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures and work in partnership with management. Key elements include conducting investigations involving violations of company rules and assist in the investigation and resolution of Ethics cases. In this role, the ER rep will design and implement training to enhance knowledge of the management and employee base.
