Job Summary:

Perform various Clean Room functions, such as but not limited to: Performing all assembly level operations first and foremost; Programming of placement, dispensing, and wire-bonding equipment; Inspection of material and processes; Understanding and maintaining Clean Room process.



Types of Equipment: MPM, Micron2, Liquid Dispensers, Electrovert Reflow Oven, Plasma Cleaner, Wire Bonders, Temp Cycling Ovens, Testers etc.


Duties/Responsibilities:

Clean Room:
Operate all Clean Room equipment and trained in all areas of Clean Room techniques Support manufacturing in all levels of assembly Provide engineering with data, images, measurements, and other information needed to evaluate potential failure mode analysis Maintain Clean Room to ISO9001:2000 level compliance for all Clean Room procedures, such as Inspection methods, ESD compliance, Equipment calibration compliance, etc. as well as maintaining all appropriate logs Provide engineering direction/support/priorities for operations when Engineer is not available Other activities as required


Inspection:
Inspect PCB's per engineering drawings Inspect processes per appropriate drawings and procedures Inspect any material as required Provide status of material awaiting inspection Support Manufacturing in inspection process as required

Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:

Organized and experienced in procedure compliance Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills Work well with others Demonstrate proficiency and knowledge in the areas outlined above

Demonstrate ability to learn and operate with a general level of supervision.

 

Specifications and Methods: Working knowledge of applicable specifications and methods used in support of the defined duties and responsibilities including but not limited to IPC-A-600, IPC-6012, IPC-A-610, IPC-TM-650, J-STD-001, J-STD-002, J-STD-003, ANSI/ESD-S-20.20, MILSTD-883F, etc.

Special Requirements: Must be able to work overtime as needed by supervisor and help in other areas, which may include duties/responsibilities not listed under primary duties

Credentials and Experience:

Prefer Associates degree or BS Minimum three (3) years Clean Room experience in an Electronics manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
